David Brinkerhoff David Brinkerhoff is a strategic partner of Millbrook Partners, specializing in executive search for human resource professionals as well as being an expert resource to clients in executive and organizational development. For over 35 years, David has consulted to many major corporations, and has worked in close partnership with his clients to address complex, executive level recruiting and retention issues. His client work has spanned a broad range of industries, and he has served clients both domestically and internationally. 

David is President of Abbott Smith Associates, which for 40 years has been a leader in human resource search and advisory. Prior to Abbott Smith, he was an Assistant Dean at Purdue University responsible for Continuing Education and Corporate Consulting programs. In this role, he consulted extensively with area industries on their executive development issues. He is widely published and speaks frequently to professional groups. David is active in the American Society for Training and Development, Organization Development Network, Human Resources Planning Society, the Society for Human Resource Management and the Academy of Management.

 Educated at Purdue, he received his B.A. and M.S. degrees as well as completing the coursework towards his Ph.D. in Human Resources Management. He also teaches at the graduate level at the New York Institute of Technology, and is deeply involved in his community, having been President of the Millbrook Rotary Club, the Church Alliance Housing Development, Inc., and New Horizons for the Retarded, Inc.
